I Caved: Sherlock Holmes, the great detective, was relaxing after a wonderful...Surprise visits never hurt. Especially after all this time, her visit should have been expected long before now. However, unexpected work does sprout up, and when there’s a decent incentive, Adler was not one to miss out on seizing what she could. Though now touring back through London, it seemed like an opportune time to make an entrance - and not through the front door, either. One might have assumed a cat burglar, as she moved in ways similar to one, going from house to house, roof to roof, balcony to balcony in the swiftest manner. Although with the unforgivable rain overhead, her movements were delayed, though somehow timed perfectly enough to reach this particular window on the right footing. “Your doctor is a very wise man. I do believe he mentioned how I am fond of making entrances as well,” she responded, a clear smirk on her lips as she shifted in through the window, already shimmying out of the heavily dripping overcoat (which was clearly a man’s). “I’m sure you’ll forgive my intrusion.” |
“Tied up, darling?” Of course, that was always what ‘busy’ meant. “Perhaps I can help you.”
